I am delighted to be able to inform everyone that the remaining 450 yards or so of pathworks, that were required to be done at the top of the Fair Haired Lad's Pass, have now been completed, thanks to the efforts of Willie Macqueen from Daviot who managed to finish the work in good time despite the bad bouts of winter weather.
We are grateful to the Forestry Commission at Fort Augustus for project managing this work and also to the Highland Council Ward Discretionary Budget and the Stratherrick Community Trust for providing the funding to allow the Access Group to pay for the work.
If you have not already made the trip up the Pass, it really is worth the effort. You will be rewarded with magnificent views on both sides. Enjoy!
